Cheer Up!

 Hello! 

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a new card.  I'm so excited that it is finally spring!! It is still cold here in Cincinnati but I'm so looking foward to be outside more.  I created this card inspired by spring and the nice walks outside and getting caught in the spring rains!   

I started by creating the background with an outdoor background stamp from my stash.  For the images I used one of adorabe Anyas from the new mystery ANYA COMBO 2 set (limited edition, you can always resquest this set back in the TGF Farmers Market).  The little dog is from the BOW WOW Wow set and the bird from YOU'RE SO TWEET set.    I colored all the images and background with Copic markers and images were fussy cut. 

I added them to the background with foam adhesive to give them some dimension. 

 

The sentiment is from the Anya Combo 2 set and was stamped with black ink.  

I just hope the warm weather comes quickly!

The Greeting Farm: Just For You

 Hello crafty friends 

Today I'm on TGF blog sharing a new card featuring one of the new released stamp set You're So Tweet. 

These little birds make me think and long for spring so much!! I love that you can color them like any of your favorite birds.  I created a bluebird, a goldfinch and a European Robin.  They are  so fun to color.  

I created a shaker card by die cutting 3 windows on to the maing panel.  I staped the branch and all the little feathers and berrie bunch.  For the window panels I ink blended them in blues and splatter white ink..  All the bird images were colored with Copic markers and die cut. They were all glued with foam adhesive to give the card some dimension.   I added tiny pearls as the shaker element.  

I love how the card turned out.

The Greeting Farm: February Preview Day 3: You're So Tweet

 

Welcome to our final day of The Greeting Farm February previews!! 

This month we are introducing 3 new ADORABLE clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop tomorrow where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Introducing You're So Tweet!  I love birds so this is just the perfect set for me!! This set has lots of little birds that are so perfect to create all occasion cards!!  

For this card I decided to color the birds into my favorite ones, the robin.   I have them in my yard pretty much all year long and they can be so friendly.  I just love feeding them fruit everyday.  

I started on the background and used Distress Ink Sprays and water into a watercolor paper.  I then used a stencil with glossy transparent paste and grit paste, it really created a cool effect.   All images were colored with Copic markers and die cut.  I used foam adhesive to place them and added a little twine for the bird house.   I finished it by adding a few glass beads and the sentiment was die cut with a banner die.   Such a Tweet card!!
