There's No Day Like a Snow Day

Hello TGF Friends!

I hope everyone made it through that monstrous snowstorm—we’re now braving subzero temps, and it’s definitely brrr-worthy! While I’m not a fan of the cold, I do love seeing the neighborhood kids enjoying their snow days. Inspired by their joy, I created this week’s card using the adorable SNOW DAY stamp set from The Greeting Farm!

These playful penguins are having the time of their lives skiing, snowboarding, and tubing through a snowy wonderland. I brought the scene to life with a slimline layout and soft blended layers of Distress Oxide inks to create the sky, mountains, and frosty hills.

Card Details:

  • I used a slimline die to cut the main panel and stitched outline.
  • Each penguin, tree, and house was stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut using my Scan & Cut.
  • Everything was added to the scene with foam adhesive for dimension.
  • The sentiment was stamped in black at the bottom, and I finished the sky with scattered snowflakes for a magical touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by—stay safe, stay warm, and keep crafting through the chill! ⛄

   Hi TGF friends,

Welcome back to our 2nd day of The Greeting Farm October's previews!

This month we are introducing 3 new ADORABLE clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Today we introduce snow much fun Snow Day set. These adorable little penguins sure are enjoying all the fun snow activities!!

For my card I started creating the background snowy scene with a winter lanscape die.  I ink blended the pieces with Distress Ink Oxides.   I colored all the penguins, houses and tress with Copic markers and die cut them with my Cut & Scan.   I stamped the sentiment in black ink and also stamped the snowflakes in a light blue.  All images were adhered with foam adhesive.  Lastly I added glitter on all snow borders and top of the mountains.

They sure are having fun dashing through the snow!!

Make sure to check out all the others DT creations and come back on Monday for our las day of previews!

Hugs

Copic markers:  for the penguins I used C9, C7, YR18, YR16, E40, E42, R20
