Today I'm on The Greeting Farm Blog sharing a fall card!!
As the leaves begin to turn and pumpkin spice fills the air, it’s the perfect time to dive into fall crafting! Today, I’m excited to share a handmade card that captures the warmth and whimsy of the season. This project features Anya from one of my favorite stamp sets PUMPKIN SPICE ANYA. The stamp set is sold out in the store but you can request it in our next Farmer's Market.
Anya is enjoying her pumpkin latte, in the company of her sweet little fox.
To set the scene for the background, I started by blending Distress Oxide inks over a cloud and grass stencil combination. I then used a rounded rectangle die to cut the panel, giving it a clean look. To add texture, I splattered white ink across the background and softly inked the edges.
The star of the card is Anya, dressed in a cozy purple sweater and a knitted hat, sitting on a large orange pumpkin while sipping her whipped-cream-topped latte. I colored her and her woodland companion — a sweet little fox — using Copic markers, choosing warm, rich tones to reflect the season.
Each element was adhered to the background using foam adhesive to create depth and dimension. The sentiment, “IT’S FALL Y’ALL,” was stamped in the top left corner, tying the whole theme together with a cheerful seasonal greeting.
To finish, I mounted the entire panel onto a piece of fall-patterned paper using more foam adhesive. This final layer adds warmth and frames the scene beautifully.
