Celebrate!

 Hello, crafty friends!

Today I’m over on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a bright and patriotic scene featuring the adorable SCOOTING BY ANYA. She’s cruising along with a cheerful bouquet in her basket, enjoying the sunshine and celebrating the spirit of the 4th of July. With fireworks bursting in the sky and little flags waving in the background, she’s ready for all the red, white, and blue fun! She reminds me of my girls when they used to decorate their bikes for the neighboorhood 4th of July parade.

Card Details:

• This is a one‑layer card.

• All images were stamped and masked to build the full scene.

• I blended Distress Oxide inks to create the path, grassy hillside, and soft summer sky.

• The fireworks were added using a festive stencil for that sparkle.

• The sentiment was stamped in crisp black ink.

• Everything was colored with Copic markers.

• To finish, I die‑cut the panel with a wavy stitched border and mounted it onto coordinating red, white, and blue patterned paper for the perfect patriotic pop.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you a joyful and safe 4th of July filled with celebration, color, and creativity.

TGF JUNE 2026 Challenge: ADD A BANNER

Happy Monday Farmers!

If you are not on Instagram, you may have missed The Greeting Farm's special announcement. As Marie takes this necessary time off, the Design Team will continue to post inspiration on the blog. The Greeting Farm will also continue with monthly challenges in The Greeting Farm Fan Page Facebook Group for a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate. If you LOVE The Greeting Farm, please continue to support them during this time by purchasing their Stamps, Digital Stamps, and Coloring Book Pages! It is greatly appreciated!

Our JUNE 2026 Challenge is: ADD A BANNER

For this challenge I reached for one of the adorable Cheekys from the Miss Cheeky Summer set—she is just perfect for a sunny beach scene!

To create my card, I started by stamping the main image and masking off the sides with low‑tack tape to form a clean vertical strip. I colored everything with Copic markers and blended a soft beach background right inside that masked area. Once I lifted the tape, it revealed the prettiest crisp striped panel.

I trimmed the edges and layered the scene over a bright striped patterned paper to tie in all those fun summer colors. The sentiment was stamped onto a banner die and popped up with foam adhesive for a little extra dimension.

To finish the card, I added coordinating enamel dots along the side for a playful pop of color.

The challenges start on the 15th of each month, and run until the 14th of the next month so you have several weeks to work on your project. The full list of CHALLENGE RULES will be listed under the challenge album on Facebook.

To enter, upload your card to the Challenge Album in The Greeting Farm Fan Page Facebook Group. (Click on "Media" > "Albums" LINK: HERE. Find the challenge album for the month and click on it. Click on "Add Photos". After you upload your card to the album, leave a comment under your card so it shows up on the Discussion page.)

Thanks so much for stopping by today—summer is definitely here!

Birthday Wishes

 Happy June, Crafty Friends!

I can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by — summer is almost here! Today I’m on the TGF Blog sharing a sweet and festive birthday card featuring one of the Anyas from the brand‑new BIG BIRTHDAY stamp set. This kit is packed with the cutest birthday images, sentiments, and accessories, and I hope you were able to snag it during the pre‑order. If not, there are still a few sets left in the shop!

Card Details:

I started by stamping this adorable Anya and coloring her with Copic markers. Once she was ready, I masked her off and used a splash stencil with Distress Oxide inks to create a soft, playful background. The sentiment — also from the BIG BIRTHDAY set — was stamped in black ink to keep it bold and clean.

To bring extra movement and color to the design, I die cut a handful of butterflies and ink blended them in coordinating Distress Oxide shades. Each one was added with foam adhesive for dimension, fluttering around Anya like a burst of birthday joy. To finish the card, I framed the entire scene with a sparkly pink border for that perfect celebratory touch.

I’ll see you next week for our June previews — you won’t want to miss them!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs!
