Miss You So Much

 Hello TGF friends! 

I'm on the blog today sharing a card inspired by those special friends and furry companions who will always hold a place in our hearts. Lately, I've been missing my sweet Zoe, and this card felt like the perfect way to express that feeling.

I used the adorable TRUE FRIEND stamp set to create this tender scene of a little girl sitting quietly beside her faithful pup. The sentiment from the Cute Script set perfectly captures the message: Miss You So Much. (This stamp set is currently not in the store, but can be requested for a future Farmers Market using the Contact Page on the store site- HERE) 

To create the background, I stamped and masked the image before blending three shades of pink Distress Oxide ink through a heart splatter stencil. A few spritzes of Distress Mica Spray added a soft shimmer and extra texture. After removing the mask, I colored the image with Copic markers and added a touch of grass beneath them to ground the scene.

I trimmed the panel using a stitched rectangle die and layered it onto patterned paper.  A few enamel dots were the perfect finishing touch.
