Hello Crafty Friends!
I’m so excited to kick off Day 1 of our 2025 TGF Previews! This month, we’re introducing three AMAZING new clear stamp sets — and trust me, you’re going to love them! Don’t forget, our Blog Hop is happening on the 15th, and one lucky winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the store!
Today’s spotlight is on the HI KITTY stamp set — a purr-fectly adorable collection featuring six playful kitties, each celebrating something special.
To create my card:
- I started with a dreamy background using several shades of Distress Oxide sprays. I misted Heavy Distress cardstock with water, then layered the inks until I got the look I wanted. Once dry, it gave a soft, watercolor-like effect.
- I used a slimline die to cut out the window panels and reassembled them with a teal cardstock outline for a pop of contrast.
- Each kitty was stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut using my Scan & Cut.
- Sentiments were stamped and trimmed with various banner dies, then everything was adhered with foam tape for dimension.
- To finish, I sprinkled enamel dots throughout the panels for a festive touch.
This design would make a perfect birthday card — just add a birthday sentiment and you’re set!
