I'm So Sorry... The Greeting Farm

 Hello crafty friends!

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a new sympathy card.  I used the beautiful Deepest Sympathy stamp set.  It's my go to stamp set for these special occasion cards, the sentiments and flowers are just beautiful.

I started by creating the background by blending several colors of Distress Oxides sprays. I used distress  heavy cardstock and sprayed it with water first and then the inks. When I had the desired colors and effect I dried it.

I heat embossed in white the flowers and butterflies.  Made the center sentiment by heat embossing the sentiment in black, I used some scalloped rectangular dies and glued with foam adhesive to give it some dimension.

I finished by matting it to a black cardstock and adding some clear drops.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs

The Greeting Farm April's Release Blog Hop

The APRIL 2023 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new sets. Our first set called ALL WORK NO PLAY features adorable puppies playing around in empty boxes. Next, we introduced a spring set with two girls holding umbrellas playing in puddles with their duck friends. Last, we showcased a HELLO sentiment set that can mix and match with many of our other sets.

For my card I combined the Rain Or Shine and Hello set.  I created a small round scene with the characters and all images were colored with Copic markers. I used a quilted die cut for the background.  The Hello sentiment was heat embossed onto black cardstock in a rose gold embossing powder.

To celebrate this release we are having a short BLOG HOP! One lucky fan will take home the entire release!! You have until April 18th, 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each Designer's Blog. Then head back to The Greeting Farm Blog to let us know you completed the hop.

Hello: The Greeting Farm April Preview Day 3

Welcome back to our final day of  The Greeting Farm April's previews.  Today we have another amazing sentiment set called Hello.   I just love this set and all the different scripts of the word hello.  You can customize the sentiment to any person in your life.

I created two cards just focused on the sentiments.  Really simple and easy cards.

For the first card I created the background with Distress Oxides sprays and water. Once dried I start stamping the sentiments on a angle.  They were all heat embossed in black.  I stamped the smaller sentiments on white cardstock and used a banner label die to cut them.

For the second one I created a focus point for the hello sentiment with some circular scalloped dies. I added on top of a strip of patterned paper.  I stamped the smaller 3 cascading down.  I added a few enamel drops and card is done!

All Work No Play The Greeting Farm: April Preview Day 1

 Hi Friends!

Are you ready for day one of The Greeting Farm April’s release? This month we are introducing 3 new ADORABLE clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Today we introduce All Work No Play. How cute is this set with all the little dogs playing with the packing boxes!  Love all the 3 dog images in their boxes. Lots of little accessories images to create such cute scenes and 3 fun sentiments for all kind of occasion cards.

For my card today I started stamping and masking the center image and stamped the other to overlap them.  I wanted to create a fun scene with all the pups in their boxes.  Added the tape strips around them and the little ripped toy.  I cut the scene and added over a patterned paper and left the top white to add the main sentiment.   All the images were colored with Copic markers.

Head over to the TGF blog to see all the wonderful creations from our other DT members using this set!

Come back tomorrow for the second day of sneak peeks!

Hey You!

 Hello!

Today I'm sharing a new card over on The Greeting Farm blog.  For this one I used one of the Anyas from the Anya Mystery Combo 2 Set (you can request this set for one of the upcoming Farmers Market) .  The sentiment is from the Cute Script stamp set.  I just love this one and her cute little hair!!  She is just stopping by to say hello!

I die cut several times in white this floral cover die and layer them to give it a little dimension.  Behind each flower I added a different colored patterned paper.  I love how it looks.

The sentiment was stamped on one of those patterned papers and die cut in a circle to cover one of the flowers.  I added some foam adhesive to make it pop.  The image was colored with Copic markers and also die cut and popped with foam adhesive.   To finish the card I just added a few enamel dots in the center of the flowers.

Hugs!!
