Teen Boy Birthday Card

Hello friends!

I’m back on The Greeting Farm blog today sharing a fun teen boy birthday card featuring the awesome HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment set paired with Ian from the LIKE LIKE YOU set (This stamp set is currently not in the store, but can be requested for a future Farmers Market using the Contact Page on the store site- HERE) . I created this card for my nephew’s 14th birthday, and I just love how perfectly these two sets work together for any teenager’s celebration.

To create my card:

• I started with the background by stamping Happy Birthday in red ink.

• Then I used a splatter stencil to create a cool background.
• I die cut the background panel with a stitched border die.
• Ian was stamped, colored with Copic markers and die cut.
• It was added to the background with foam adhesive.
• I die cut his age to personalize the card. 
• Finished the card by adding enamel dots and adding the whole thing to a red cardstock.

Sloth Happy Birthday

 Hi TGF friends! 

I'm on The Greeting Farm blog today sharing a CAS birthday card using one of the adorable sloths from Thanks a Sloth set.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Happy Birthday set.  

I cut the backgroung with a stitched rectangle die. Sentiment was stamped at the bottom in black ink.  Then I stenciled the 3 brush strokes in different colors.  

The sloth was colored with Copic markers,  fussy cut and popped with foam adhesive.  To finish I added the enamel dots and adhered the background into a patterned paper.  Super simple!

The Greeting Farm May Release Blog Hop

 

The MAY 2022 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new sets. Our first magical set called CHEEKY MERMAIDS takes you on journey under the sea and features 2 gorgeous mermaids, some sea life, and two sentiments. Next, we added a set to our sentiment line called HAPPY BIRTHDAY that can be used alone or combined with other stamps. Lastly, we brought you characters who are ready for a trip to the beach in a set called MINI-REMIX SUNSHINE.

To celebrate this release we are having a short BLOG HOP! One lucky fan will take home the entire release! You have until May 18th, 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each Designer's Blog. For my card today I'm combining Cheeky Mermaids and Happy Birthday stamp sets.  The background was done with Distress Oxides sprays and water. I heat embossed the sentiments with rose gold embossing powder.  All images were colored with Copic markers and die cut with the Scan & Cut.  

I added some glossy accent on the bubbles and lots of Stickles

The Greeting Farm: May Release Preview Day 2: Happy Birthday

 Hello TGF friends!! 

Happy day!! It is Day Two of The Greeting Farm May previews!! 

This month we are introducing 3 new clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Today we are introducing a super birthday sentiment set! Happy Birthday.  I just love sentiment stamps and use them with all the wonderful TGF images! Such a great addition!  

The background was created during a class from the talented Creative Chick Jenn Shurkus.  This was her Distress Techniques: Sprays and Mediums class. Check it out!  I created so many cool backgrounds!  You will be seeing them in my coming DT posts.   It was done using Distress Oxides sprays and water.   I love the effect!  

The Happy Birthday was heat embossed in black and the others in gold.  A simple birthday card but looks amazing!  The sentiment is the star.
