Take it Easy

  Hello TGF Friends! 

Happy New Year!! So happy to be creating for The Greeting Farm for another year!! I love this group so much! I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday season and took some time to relax and enjoy all the festivities!  It's always a busy month for us but I always take some time to relax.  

To start off the year I created a card that perfectly sums up the end of the year for me. I used the cute Happy Place stamp set.  That is totally me trying to take it easy and enjoying some reading time after a crazy month. 

For my card I cut the main panel and stamped the images and colored all with Copic markers.  The little stack of books were stamped seperately, fussy cut and added to the table with foam adhesive for a litlle dimension.  I used a scalloped rectangle die to frame the main panel and added patterened paper for the back.  

I hope you all took a little time to relax before the new year begins!

The Greeting Farm June Release Blog Hop

 

The JUNE 2022 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new sets. Our first set called HELLO BESTIE features a little bean Anya and Ian along with some cute animals to create a fun and unique best friend card. Next, we introduced a set for all of you who just love to chill at home called HAPPY PLACE. It features Anya all cozy in her reading chair, and Ian on his tablet or his Nintendo Switch (per my son, LOL!). Our last set called FLAPPY BIRTHDAY features 2 stylish female geese and 2 dapper male geese ready to celebrate a birthday.

To celebrate this release we are having a short BLOG HOP! One lucky fan will take home the entire release! You have until June 18th, 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each Designer's Blog. I created a card using the adorable Happy Place Stamp set   This was created for all the book lovers  this is what I think of a happy place surrounded by books.  The background was done using Oxide Sprays and water   All the images were colored with Copics and die cut.  I created a little scene for her by blending Distress oxide inks.  I used a scalloped round die to isolate the image.

The Greeting Farm: June Release Preview Day 2: Happy Place

 Happy day!! It is Day Two of The Greeting Farm June previews!! 

This month we are introducing 3 new clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Today we are introducing Happy Place.  I just love this set and it so me! I just love to stay home with my husband and animals.  It is very rare that we have moments like this these days.  We are always on the run.  Just looking at this card makes me long for some quiet reading time! It kind of makes me miss the Covid lockdowns when we were forced to stay home and we got to relax.  

For my card I just did a one layer and all colored with Copic markers.  I did some masking with certain images.
