The Greeting Farm: Sending Hugs

 Hello cradfty friends. Who doesn't want to receive a hug?  Especially from this cute guy! 

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a card I created using one of the boys from the super cute set Like Like You. I combined it with the Cute Script sentiment set.  I love this sentiment set, you can combined it with any stamp set! 

The background was created by spraying Distress Oxides sprays into wet paper and drying with the heat tool.  I repeated this a few times until I was satisfied with the color blend.  I added Distress Crackle paste onto a diamond stencil to create a really cool effect.  I learned this technique on Creative Chick Distress ink classes (here).   

The sentiments were hear embossed in white.  Love how they look against the background.  

Image was colored witth Copic markers, die cut and raised with adhesive foam. Finished the card with a few enamel dots on the corner.

Mama Elephant Birthday Celebration Challenge

 Hello!

I created a couple of cards for Mama Elephant 10th year birthday crafting challenge.  

For my 1st card I used one of the adorable Little Line Agenda set image. The image colored with Copic markers.  The background was created by using Distress Oxides sprays and water.  I also used the Big Happy Birthday die and cut it in 2 different colors with the black on the bottom to make it pop.  All elements were riased with foam adhesive. I cut the background with the Mod Heart Die .  I finished this card with a few glass beads.  

For my 2nd card I used another adorable set  Celebration Hamsters  (all ME stamps are adorable!)   I ink blended the background with Distress Ink Oxides and to create the sky.  I stenciled the stars in red around the center and stenciled it also in the sky with glimmer paste.  I used the MOD Heart die border.   All images were colored with Copic markers.

The Greeting Farm June Release Blog Hop

 

The JUNE 2022 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new sets. Our first set called HELLO BESTIE features a little bean Anya and Ian along with some cute animals to create a fun and unique best friend card. Next, we introduced a set for all of you who just love to chill at home called HAPPY PLACE. It features Anya all cozy in her reading chair, and Ian on his tablet or his Nintendo Switch (per my son, LOL!). Our last set called FLAPPY BIRTHDAY features 2 stylish female geese and 2 dapper male geese ready to celebrate a birthday.

I created a card using the adorable Happy Place Stamp set   This was created for all the book lovers  this is what I think of a happy place surrounded by books.  The background was done using Oxide Sprays and water   All the images were colored with Copics and die cut.  I created a little scene for her by blending Distress oxide inks.  I used a scalloped round die to isolate the image.

The Greeting Farm: June Release Preview Day 3: Flappy Birthday

  Welcome back to the last day of The Greeting Farm previews! Today we are introducing Flappy Birthday.  How cute are these ducks?!!  All dressed up and ready for the party!! I love all the little accessories that comes with this set! 

Images were colored with Copics, die cut with the Scna & Cut and popped with foam adhesive. The background was ink blended with Distress Ink Oxides and I sprinkle a different color.

The Greeting Farm: June Release Preview Day 2: Happy Place

 Happy day!! It is Day Two of The Greeting Farm June previews!! 

This month we are introducing 3 new clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Today we are introducing Happy Place.  I just love this set and it so me! I just love to stay home with my husband and animals.  It is very rare that we have moments like this these days.  We are always on the run.  Just looking at this card makes me long for some quiet reading time! It kind of makes me miss the Covid lockdowns when we were forced to stay home and we got to relax.  

For my card I just did a one layer and all colored with Copic markers.  I did some masking with certain images.

Sweet Sentiment Stamps June Release

 Hello SSS friends!  

Today we celebrate the new release at Sweet Sentiment Stamps!  We are introducing some great stamps sets! All about dinosaurs! 

My 1st card was created with the great set RAWR!   A one layer card colored with Copic markers.  

For the 2nd card I colored the Sentiment Susan stamp set.  A beautiful floral set.

The Greeting Farm: June Preview Day 1: Hello Bestie

 Hello!! 

Here we are again for an amazing new The Greeting Farm release for June!!

This month we are introducing 3 new clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

We start off with the cutest set called Hello Bestie.  Such a great set with lots of adorable characters and lots of cute accessories! 

The images are tiny and so easy to color.  

I created a slimline card with 3 different little windows to frame each character/set of characters. The backgrounds were ink blended with Distress Oxides inks.  The sentiment was heat embossed in black. 

All images were colored with Copic markers.

The Greeting Farm - Let's go shopping!

Hello TGF friends! 

Who wants to go shopping with Anya?  This cutie is ready for sure ready!! 

Today I'm on the blog featuring a new one-layer card using all Digis images.  For this card I used the cute Miss Anya Sunny and the scene is from Porch Digi set.  

I've been having so much fun this week playing with digital images.  They are so easy to build a scene and tell a story.  All the images were colored with Copic markers and the brick wall was done by masking the images and using a brick wall stencil and some Distress Oxide inks.

The Greeting Farm Beach Digis Release

 Hello TGF friends! 

We have a brand-new Digi release:  Beach Digis!  What a great set to build some really awesome beach scenes.  You can use them all with digis and paired them with other sets or you can use them with some great stamps sets.  

I have an example of both! 

1st up I created this one layer card with just digi stamps.  Beach Digi, Summer Ian and Summer Anya.   All was colored with Copic markers. It was so much fun building this Tiki Hut Beach bar scene.

For my second card I build the beach scene and colored it with Copics.  I used the Aloha Paradise Stamp set and colored some of the characters, die cut them and added them to the scene. I printed the scene a few times in plain paper to make sure I had the right sizing for the characters.  This was a lot of fun to create too!
