Hello Summer: The Greeting Farm

 Hello Crafty Friends!

It's summertime!! My favorite season! I don't mind the heat and I love all the pool and beach time I can get!!  These two little cuties are surely welcoming summer with some pool vibes!

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog Greeting Farm blog sharing a summery card created with the adorable Pool Party set.   I die cut the background white panel with a border die.  I used a circle stencil to center the pool scene and added a poll water stencil on top and ink blended with Distress Ink Oxides Tumbled Glass and Savage Patina.

Added glitter all around the water and the sentiment on the bottom.  Both images were colored with copic markers, fussy cut them and added them to the pool with foam adhesive. Finished the card by matting the background onto patterned paper and  adding a few enamel dots.

I hope you all enjoy your summer!

Mama Elephant: Ice Cream Party

 Hello

Today I'm sharing a cute birthday card I created with some adorable  Mama Elephant sets.

I started by cutting the main backround with Mama Elephant  Slim Card Basics Dies as well as the scalloped border. I than created the background scene using the perfect scenery stamps A Better Place by stamping the trees, rocks, shrubs and sun. They were all colored with Copic markers. The grass was also colored with Copics.  For the sky I used Distress Ink Oxides Tumbled Glass and a small blending brush and created the sky.

I then stamped and colored all the little characters from the Mama Elephant stamp set Ice Cream Stand, which was a collaboration with Ellen Hutson stamps last year.  All were die cut with coordinating dies.  I positioned them into the backgroung and figure out were to stamp the sentiment.  All images were added with foam adhesive.  I added lots of glitter on all the ice creams.

I absolutely love how this card turned out!!

XOXO

All occasion cards with Anya Combo 3

 Hello Crafty friends!!

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a couple of all occasion cards using a couple of images from the new special edition  Anya Combo 3 set (it can be requested in the Farmers Market ).  I absolutely love all the images from this set.  It was hard to decide wich ones to color first.  I settled for a couple of the Anya's enjoying their little ice cream cones.  I created a couple of cards using the same design.

I started by creating the backgrounds using Tim Holtz's heavy cardstock and Distress Oxide sprays.   I sprayed the cardstock with water 1st,  placed a Tim Holtz's stencil and sprayed different colors to fill in the stencil.  I than used another cardstock and inversted the sprayed stencil part to make an negative  impression of the previous background.   Once dried  I cut them with different border dies.

I colored both images with Copic Markers and die cut with my Scan & Cut.  I added some glitter on one of the images.   I cut some strips of cardstock in white and black for the sentiments.  The Happy Birthday is from Miss Anya Birthday set  and the Have Fun is from Miss Anya Hobby set   (sold out but can be requested in the Farmers Market).  You could use any sentiment that fit your occasion.

Both images and sentiment strips were attached with foam adhesive and I finished the cards with some colored enamel dots.  These were so much fun to create.

Happy Summer!!

Peace Love & Joy

Hello TGF friends!  Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a new project. I can't believe this is my last post of the year!! ...
