Sending You Oceans of Love

Hello crafty Friends! 

It’s May and you know what that means!! It’s MerMay!! I couldn't end the month without a mermaid card!  I love anything mermaid and The Greeting Farm has some fin-tastic mermaid stamps sets!! 

For today’s card I used some stamps from  a couple of sets; the adorable Little Mermaids and the whale from Mermaid Fun.   

I started by taping the white cardstock to just leave a band.  I used Distress Ink Oxides to create the ocean by blending the colors. I used a wave stencil at the end to add some soft waves.  I sprayed with water to give it a distress look.  

 

 I colored all the images with Copic markers and die cut them with my Scan& Cut.  I kept a monochromatic look throughout the images.  

All were added with foam adhesive for some dimension.   I stemped the sentiment in a dark blue.  Finished the card by adding glitter and glass enamel dots.  Love how it turned out!

The Greeting Farm May Release Blog Hop

 

The May 2024 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first set called BIRTHDAY DOGS features the cutest puppies ready to paw-tay with love and licks. Next, Anya resumed her travels and we brought you ANYA IN VIETNAM. Lastly, our big Anya and Ian spend a day out in the summer heat on a picnic in a set called HOT & SUNNY.

For my card I created a male birthday card using Ian from the Hot & Sunny set and the sentiment is from Everyday Script set.

Hot & Sunny : The Greeting Farm May Preview Day 3

 Hi TGF friends, 

Welcome back to The Greeting Farm last day of May’s previews! 

Today we introduce this amazing summer set, BHot & Sunny!  It has two main images, Miss Anya and Ian, two great summer sentiments and some great little accessories to create some fun summery scenes.

 I created a sweet scene with these two, a little summer love. 

 

For my card I started by stamping Ian and masked half of him.  I then stamped Miss Anya so they could be holding hands.  I stamped the popsicle, bottles and basket in a seperate paper and fussy cute them.  All images were colored with Copic markers. I used an arch die to frame the image and mat it with yellow carstock.  I used some patterned paper for the background and all matted with red cardstock.   The sentiment was stamped and die cut with a banner die.

Anya in Vietnam: The Greeting Farm May Preview Day 2

Welcome back to our 2nd day of The Greeting Farm May's previews!  

This month we are introducing 3 new ADORABLE clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

Today we introduce another wonderful traveling Anya:  Anya in Vietnam.  She looks absolutely beautiful in her traditional attire.  This set also has two great vietnamese greetings, thank you and Hello.  

For my card I created a single layer card. I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic markers.

Birthday Dogs: The Greeting Farm May Preview Day 1

 Hello TGF Friends! 

Welcome to another great release at The Greeting Farm!!  This month we are introducing 3 new ADORABLE clear stamp sets. Remember, we will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the entire release!

For our 1st  day of May’s preview we introduce the super cute new Birthday Dogs !!They sure know how to throw a birthday bash!  

For my card I started by stamping the main image, I then split the smaller stampe set in two and added these to each side of the main one.  I loved creating a long scene and used all the little dogs.  All images and background were colored with Copic markers.  I added the large sentiment in black embossing powder and finished with some enamel dots in one corner.

Hola! Celebrate with Anya in Mexico

 

Hola Amigos!!  

Do you celebrate Cinco de Mayo?  Our little cutie Anya in Mexico sure does!!  I love how all the Mexican restaurants celebrate this day and I love any excuse to drink a good marguerita!!    I created a festive card using this stamp set from The Greeting Farm, to celebrate this special day.     Anya is all set with her beautiful traditional dress and her little maracas!   

I used traditional Mexican colors. I started by die cutting the center panel and stamped Anya and the flowers in each corner.  All the images were colored with Copic Markers.  I used a scalloped rectangular die in red and green to frame the image.   I separately colored the maracas and fussy cut them.  They were added with some adhesive.  

The sentiment was added on the other panel.  All was framed with a color coordinating patterned paper.  Lastly I added glitter all around.
