The Greeting Farm February Release Blog Hop

 

The FEBRUARY 2021 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! First, we introduced you to a COOL COUPLE who are perfect for all of those lovey dovey cards. Next, we had adorable bunnies come to the rescue to lift you higher in a set called LET'S GO. Our 3rd set called MINKIE FRIENDS gives you the opportunity to show appreciation to all of your friends who have stood by your side.

Today I'm showcasing Minkie Friends with this firendship card.  I stenciled the background with Distress Oxide ink. Image colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and popped with foam adhesive.  This set is so much fun to color.

The Greeting Farm: February Release Preview Day 3: Minkie Friends

 Welcome back to Day 3 of The Greeting Farm Release Previews!! 

This month we are introducing 3 new adorable clear stamps. We will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the stamps sets we feature this week!

Today we are introducing Minkie Friends! This is such a cute set and so fun to color.  

I created a fun slimline and used all the characters of this set.  They are so tiny and so easy to color.  

All images were colored with Copic Markers.  I used Mama Elephant slimline die. The grass hill is a die from the same die set.  I stenciled the clouds with DIstress Oxide Inks Broken Chine and Tumbled Glass.   All images were cut with my Scan & Cut and popped with foam adhesive.  One of the sentiments was stamped in black directly into the cloudy backgound and the other sentiment was stamped and die cut with Lawn Fawn banner die.

The Greeting Farm: February Release Preview Day 2: Let's Go

 It's Day 2 of The Greeting Farm February Release Previews! Today we have the cutest set ever!! Let's Go!  I just love this set! Those bunnies are just too cute!! Such a fun set to color and so much you can create with it!

I created a slime line card using the slimline dies from Mama Elephant.  I stamped the main image on Xpress it cardstock and masked the image to stencil the clouds.  They were stenciled with Distress Oxide inks Chipped Saphire, Salty Ocean, Broken China and Tumbled Glass using Lawn Fawn Cloud Stencil.  

All images colored with Copic Markers.  The three little bunnies dangling and clouds were fussy cut and popped with foam tape.

The Greeting Farm: February Release Preview Day 1: Cool Couple

 Hello TGF Friends!! 

Wow! It's already February and that means a new release at The Greeting Farm!! 

This month we are introducing 3 new adorable clear stamps. We will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the stamps sets we feature this week!

Today we are kicking this month's previews with the coolest loving couple! This new set is called Cool Couple. So perfect for a Valentine's  or Anniversary cards!!   I had so much fun coloring both hairs and stepping out of my comfort zone!  Love how it turned out.   

This card measures 5.5 x 4.25 and images were stamped on Xpress It cardstock.  I colored all images with Copic markers.  For the background I used chalk to color the sky and grass.  The flower was fussy cut and popped with foam tape.  Sentiment stamped directly on cardstock.

So This is Love - Valentine's Card TGF

 Hello Friends!! 

I can't believe how fast January went by and how cold it's getting (at least here in Cincinnati)!  With Valentine's approaching fast I wanted to create a special card for the occasion using the adortable set So This is Love.  I wanted to tell a love story through the years, with the couple falling in love, having a good life and still being in love when they are older.  I do hope to grow old and always have my husband and best friend to share the journey.  

I created this card with a 4.25 x 5.5 white Copic Xpress cardstock.  I used the window frame die to guide me and stamp the images and sentiment.  They were colored with Copic Markers and created little scenes behind them. 

For the sentiment I colored with Distress Oxide ink with a blending brush. I added a heart stitched detail from Lawn Fawn  and a few enamel pearls.    The red stitched window frame from Mama Elephant was popped with foam adhesive.   

I hope I have inspired you to make a Valentine's card for your sweathearts.
